All members of the SWAT team are required to complete "Master SWAT Operators" training. Team members also attend specialized training that includes deployment of less lethal force, gas, tactical submachine gun and tactical rifle and counter-sniper marksmen. The team continues to train bi-monthly including joint training programs with surrounding agencies.
