Lost boy found unharmed

When 22 month old Noah Goulding followed his dog, Whiskey, away from his home last Friday, April 20, he had no idea that rescue workers and volunteers from all over the county would show up to search for him.

Rescue workers were dispatched around 1:45 to a home off Holly Dr. off Chatsworth Highway to look for the small boy. He had been playing in the yard with his parents when his mother went inside to check on another child and his father was cutting some wood.

The lad was found around 5:45 p.m. by Roy Wright behind his residence on Chatsworth Hwy. The boy was unharmed and tired.

According to Gilmer County Sheriff Stacy Nicholson, over 100 people and a Georgia State Patrol helicopter searched for the boy. The Sheriff and the boy’s parents expressed gratitude that so many people assisted in locating Noah.
