Moving, growing and changing ...

Deputies Stan Brumbalow (l) and Lee Charles (r) wave Ellijay Mayor Al Hoyle through the front security checkpoint at the new Gilmer County Courthouse. The courthouse hasn't opened up officially, but many county offices are now making the awaited move from their old quarters to the facility's new office space. So far, the sheriff's department, county assessors and county planners have made the move successfully. Other offices will be making the transition throughout this and the coming week.
